Our Mission

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

At RFDC, our daily mission is to inspire, educate, and empower every individual who walks through our doors. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where creativity, passion, and self-expression flourish. We aim to instil the love of dance in our students, regardless of their age or skill level, by offering high-quality instruction, fostering a strong sense of community, and promoting a deep appreciation for the art form. Each day, we strive to help our dancers reach their full potential, not only as performers but as confident, disciplined, and self-assured individuals. We believe in the transformative power of dance and are dedicated to sharing its joy and benefits with all who join our dance family.

Ruby O'Brien

Studio Owner & Director

Ruby is a seasoned dancer with a rich history in various styles, having commenced her journey at the tender age of 2. During her high school years, she actively participated in John Rennie's sport étude program, showcasing her talents with Ballet Ouest. Under the tutelage of distinguished instructors like Claude Caron and the esteemed Ballet Ouest faculty, Ruby engaged in competitive dancing and graced the stage in productions like the Nutcracker until the age of 18. Subsequently, she embarked on a teaching career, imparting her expertise in tap, jazz, and ballet to children of all ages. Expanding her instructional repertoire, Ruby went on to teach a diverse array of styles, including lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre. Drawing upon the wealth of experience accumulated over years of dedicated training, Ruby has now taken the admirable step of establishing her own dance studio, providing an enriching environment for children to learn and flourish in the art of dance.
